Description

The i-8 is the smallest subwoofer in the i-Series. The unique design provides unprecedented depth from an enclosure of this size. The i-8 is intended to provide warmth and depth to any system where space is premium - and will provide astonishing output for is diminutive size.

Simple and elegant

The i-8 requires an active low pass filter to function correctly, but no external EQ or processing. Carefully designed dimensions allow it to be easily concealed in even the most space-conscious venue.

Construction

The CNC-machined enclosure is constructed from 15mm (5/8") multi-laminate Finnish birch ply, and contains four high-power 8" drive units loaded as two compound isobaric pairs.

Standard features and rigging

The enclosure is finished in black semi-matt textured paint (although other colours are available on request). Connection is provided with a pair of Neutrik Speakon™ NL4MP connectors, and the front of the enclosure is protected by a tough perforated steel/acoustically transparent foam grille. Sixteen M10 flypoints are included to allow suspension of the enclosure in ceilings where required.
