Description

The i-2 is intended for use as front fills, delays or in installation situations where extremely precise coverage is required. Stylish yet discreet looks allow it to blend into any theatre or corporate installation, or stand out in a café or bar.

Simple and elegant

The i-2 requires no processing whatsoever to function correctly. For higher SPL applications a high pass filter is recommended to increase drive unit headroom.

Construction

The CNC-machined enclosure is constructed from 15mm (5/8") multi-laminate Finnish birch ply, and contains a pair of 5" LF/MF drive units, and a 4" x 1" planar wave HF drive unit on a proprietary rotatable waveguide.

Standard features and rigging

The enclosure is finished in black semi-matt textured paint (other colours are available on request). Connection is provided with a pair of Neutrik Speakon™ NL4MP connectors, and the front of the enclosure is protected by a tough perforated steel grille. Two 3/8" threaded fixings are provided for ease of use in rental situations, and Omnimount/Powerdrive compatible fixings are provided on the rear. For attachment into the M8 and M10 fittings provided the optional YK-i2v vertical and YK-i2h horizontal mounting yokes are also available.
