Description

The i-12 is the largest subwoofer in the i-Series. The unique design provides unprecedented depth from an enclosure of this size. At home either as pure sub-bass in dance venues or as an added sonic effect in theatres and museums the low frequency extension the i-12 can produce makes it suitable for many applications.

Simple and elegant

The i-12 requires an active low pass filter to function correctly, but no external EQ or processing. Carefully designed dimensions allow it to be easily concealed in even the most space-conscious venue.

Construction

The CNC-machined enclosure is constructed from 18mm (3/4") multi-laminate Finnish birch ply, and contains four high-power 12" drive units loaded as two compound isobaric pairs.

Standard features and rigging

The enclosure is fitted with four heavy duty bar handles for ease of movement, and is finished in black semi-matt textured paint (although other colours are available on request). Connection is provided with a pair of Neutrik Speakon™ NL4MP connectors, and the front of the enclosure is protected by a tough perforated steel/acoustically transparent foam grille. With the optional backpack housing, the i-12 can accept the DA-1 amplifier module.  Heavy duty touring wheelboards and padded transit covers are also available.
