Description

The i-1 is the smallest loudspeaker made by EM Acoustics. Conceived as a quality audio solution for discreet and compact installation situations, the i-1 is perfect for museums, café bars and restaurants, as well as discreet corporate or theatre work.

Simple and elegant

The i-1 requires no processing whatsoever to function correctly, however to increase headroom it is recommended that an active high pass filter be used, particularly when using subwoofers.

Construction

The CNC-machined enclosure is constructed from 12mm (1/2") multi-laminate Finnish birch ply, and contains a single 4" titanium cone drive unit as a true point source.

Standard features and rigging

The enclosure is supplied with a mounting yoke which can either be used for a microphone stand or for installation, and is finished in black semi-matt textured paint (although other colours are available on request). Connection is provided with a pair of 4mm binding posts, and the front of the enclosure is protected by a tough perforated steel grille.
