Slough-based corporate A/V rental specialist Conference Craft have recently increased their investment in EM Acoustics, by doubling their loudspeaker inventory.  The company recently took delivery of further EMS-121 12” x 1” passive enclosures, EMS-215 dual 15” subwoofers and a new addition, a set of i-2 compact three-way passive front fill enclosures.   The complete EM Acoustics inventory was recently taken out on the Thistle Hotels Employee of the Year Awards Night at the Guoman Tower hotel at Tower Bridge, and the show served as an ideal opportunity to put the full system through its paces.  The system in the venue comprised eight EMS-121 enclosures flown from trusses, EMS-215 subwoofers for low frequency support and i-2 enclosures as front fills, driven off QSC amplification and controlled via a DP448 from XTA Electronics.

Conference Craft’s Paul Fairchild, the project manager for the event, comments “Purchasing a new sound system from EM Acoustics was seen as a key investment. Research of the market would normally be our first point of call but due to our vast confidence in the loudspeakers we already owned, EM was our first point of call for expansion. The event itself was a great success due in no small part to the excellent sound coverage and quality that was achieved from the EM system. Should we need further expansion or technical advice Mike and the team are always happy to help”.

EM Acoustics’ Mike Wheeler adds “It’s always great to have a previous customer so pleased with your product that they come back to you again for another major system purchase.  Having seen Conference Craft in action, they take enormous pride in their work and ensure every aspect of the show is just right, which is nothing but a good reflection of the loudspeaker products they choose to specify”.
