EM Acoustics are proud to announce the most recent rental company to take on the EM Acoustics brand – Dimension Audio, part of Creative Technology Ltd. 

For EM Acoustics, this represents the closing of a circle which started over 6 years ago.  EM Acoustics’ Mike Wheeler explains “We first saw Dimension Audio over 6 years ago when they were still based in Wimbledon.  Timing wasn’t right back then, and only recently have the circumstances of both companies aligned for our relationship to move forwards.”

At the initial suggestion and approval of Mark Boden, Dimension Audio have added a dozen EMS-122w wide-dispersion 12” x 1.4” passive loudspeakers and six EMS-215 dual-15” quasi-bandpass subwoofers.  Dimension Audio have also become the first rental company in the UK to adopt the HALO compact line array system – with 12 HALO elements and 2 HALO-S subwoofers.  They also added FFA-6000DP power amplifiers and XTA processing to drive their HALO system.

Wheeler continues “Having Dimension Audio take on the HALO system is a big step forwards for the product.  We have some excellent installations of the HALO system across the globe, and rental companies in both Russia and the USA using the HALO system to great effect, but in terms of our UK business and exposure particularly to the touring market, this is a very significant milestone."

Since taking delivery in March this year, Dimension have been putting their HALO system and other products to excellent use on shows such as - Bon Jovi at the O2 (relaying sound to Peninsula square), the Big Chill Lazy Land stage, and the start of the Olympic countdown at Trafalgar Square.

Dimension’s Mark Boden adds “The HALO is just the right size system for us, it sounds great and is very easy to use. It’s perfect for both corporate and music gigs. We have used it on a number of occasions and have been very happy with the results.”
